As a Certified Professional Coach, Strategist, Consultant, and the Founder, President & CEO of Resilient, Management Consulting & Coaching, Kim specializes in helping corporate leaders and organizations set strategy, implement corporate-wide initiatives, address human capital and organizational challenges, and identify and leverage opportunities to achieve optimal performance. As a result, organizations gain clarity and exceed business goals, while leaders achieve greater personal and professional success.
Prior to founding Resilient, Management Consulting & Coaching Kim served for more than 20 years as a trusted advisor and strategist to Fortune 500 companies leading global and domestic human capital and organization development initiatives. Through her work with these organizations, she progressively rose through the ranks from Consultant to Vice President, continually assuming greater scope and responsibility.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE:
Kim has partnered with Executives and Senior Leadership to clarify the business case and develop corporate-wide strategies. She has engaged external consultants, as well as employees at all levels of the organization in driving and implementing key initiatives and activities to achieve sustainable results. Kim led an innovative initiative that involved the development and implementation of an internal P&L consulting business residing inside of a Fortune 500 Company, that provided organization development, diversity & inclusion, and learning and development consulting for the company's business leaders at all levels, as well as external clients in Health Care, Higher Education, School Services, Corporations, and the Federal Government. At another company, she led a global diversity and inclusion initiative and a global Code of Business Conduct initiative.
At yet another company, she served as an Organization Development Consultant partnering with and advising business leaders across numerous departments including Engineering, Facilities Management, Horticulture, Transportation Maintenance, Risk Management, and Health Care Services conducting Organizational Assessments, and consulting on Organizational Redesign, Process Redesign, Change Management, Rightsizing, and Strategic Planning.
Her work has resulted in numerous benefits for organizations and their leadership including developing diversity & inclusion competencies, integrating diversity & inclusion into business operations, growing the number of diverse business clients, increasing revenues and profits, reducing turnover, and increasing productivity, operational efficiency, and employee engagement.
In the public sector, Kim has served for several years in various roles in human service administration, diversity and inclusion, strategic planning, and in organizational development for local, state, and federal government working with senior leadership in developing and implementing organization-wide, regional and local programs. She also served on faculty and in administration in higher education.
As a professional coach, Kim draws upon her learnings from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) Coach Training Program, which uses the Core Energy process to tap into the client’s inner purpose and passion and connect that with outer goals and tasks to bring about extraordinary and sustainable results. Energy Leadership, iPEC’s signature program is a Transformative Leadership Development System, based on 7 levels of leadership and 8 building blocks that enable powerful change in the client, those around them, and their organization. Her coaching is also based upon the Center for Executive Coaching (CEC) Business Coaching program which involves helping the business owner gain control of their time, set their business apart from the competition, turn growth into a science, and create a high performance culture that develops leaders who work together to grow the business.
When not coaching, consulting, and working with her clients, she enjoys golfing, playing tennis, and traveling both domestically and internationally. Kim also serves on the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake.
